Loy Chye Chuan is an established second generation watercolour artist in Singapore. Born in 1940, he has seen Singapore transformed from an underdeveloped country to a beautiful first-world metropolis. Since 1960, his brush and palette have captured many scenes of old Singapore which have since vanished. A self made artist, with no formal art training, actively engaged in Singapore art arena for more than 40 years.
