Chen Xi graduated from Nanyang Technological University, School of Art and Design in 2016.
While he is no stranger to Singapore’s signature landmarks, artist Chen Xi is known for his contemporary illustrations and watercolour works , whereby a book was launched titled "Xi the World", in 2017, which is a compilation of his sketches during his time in Mediacorp at Caldecott Hill.

As Chen presents beautifully illustrated watercolour paintings that juxtapose figurative elements influenced by Singapore’s landmarks with endless stretches of detailed lineworks to capture the essence of Singapore through his own unique interpretation.
