Alexis Soh (b.1968) is an Economist by Education, but an artist by way of life.
Alexis is a versatile Singaporean artist who paints in oil, and mixed media into her repertoire. Drawing inspiration from her favorite artists, Alexis’s impasto strokes are always imbued with vivid colours and character, resulting in artworks that are rich in detail and vibrant in colour.
With a deep passion for art and a keen eye for aesthetics, Alexis’ illusion and abstract series work are generally guided by imagination. Her abstract work – mixed media and Chinese ink on rice paper - Metaphorphasis won the Gold prize in the 2025 Dr Tan Tsze Chors art competition.
Alexis remains committed to continuous growth and self-improvement, to push the boundaries of her creativity, constantly exploring new techniques, materials, and concepts.
